HB Grandi´s quotas for the 2017/18 quota year
HB Grandi‘s fleet has received quotas for a new quota year with the total of 35,620 cod-equivalent tonnes, and 46,100 tonnes in individual species. This accounts for 9.5% of the overall Icelandic quota.
These figures can all be found in the Directorate of Fisheries’ allocation for the 2017-18 quota year. These allocations include only groundfish and Icelandic summer-spawning herring that are allocated within the quota year.
Quotas for shared stocks such as Atlanto-Scandian herring, mackerel, blue whiting, capelin and deep-sea redfish are allocated separately, as are allocations for the Barents Sea cod.
